Israelis are not “traumatized” or “immobilized” by October 7, but rather animated and alert. They are not intellectual weaklings, wounded babies that have to be coddled and coaxed into making “adult decisions” like embracing Palestinian statehood. Israelis will not brook such global contempt.
Only full Israel military control of the territories adjacent to Israel has any chance of preventing enemy military build-up (and even then, it will remain an ongoing and difficult challenge).
There is no moral equivalence whatsoever between Palestinian terrorists and Israeli troops. Falsely balanced diplomatic formulations like those that "call upon all sides to end the cycle of violence" must be rejected. This is prattle that covers for Palestinian extremism and rejectionism, and retards the cause of peace.
